I am REALLY annoyed at myself over this. I've always been a big fan of AUSA's Opening Ceremonies, since they always do it up as a big skit, and this year's was another winner: a complicated, jargon-heavy mission briefing being translated for us civilians. We'd get these massive, paragraph-long names for events and see if we could guess what the heck it meant before the translation came, it was great.

Problem is, I didn't get any of the really good, really long ones written down, and the short ones I DID jot down (as seen above) just didn't do the idea justice.

But hey, It gave me an excuse to work Scribbles in, and that's good. Right?

Op. Ceremonies
I'm so glad that you enjoy the Op. Ceremonies' I've done for the past many years. If you'd like a copy of the full script, just drop me a line (adam.hennessy@animeusa.org) and I'll gladly send it to you (along with any prior year, if you'd like).

You know, I nearly DID ask for just that, but Thanksgiving travels were looming and I needed to get these things finished FAST. Thanks for the offer though! (and I mean it, you guys do my favorite Opening Ceremonies of any con)
